SEMS Tool Scores

All events being certified will use the Sustainable Event Management System (SEMS) Tool. All 55 critical criteria questions must be answered. If the question is not applicable it may be answered NA, however justification must be given in the evidence box. Scores will adjust and user will not be penalised  if answers are ‘N/A’. Minimum SEMS Tool score achieved, dependent on whether SEMS Essentials or SEMS Compliance tool is used.

SEMS Tool Essentials: This level of the tool has 103 questions. Using this level of the tool allows you to achieve:

• Bronze certification – 70% score
• Silver certification – 80% score

 

SEMS Tool COMPLIANCE: This level of the tool has 158 questions. Using this level of the tool allows you to achieve:

• Bronze  certification – 50% score
• Silver certification – 65% score
• Gold certification – 90% score
